Terry V. Kirk – Senior Pastor

Bio: Since founding Central Christian in 1983, Pastor Kirk has put his heart into connecting with people, helping them to move past preconceived notions about Jesus to find the reality of a Jesus that can change their life. Whether leading new or mature believers, Pastor Kirk is always the optimist, believing that if Jesus could change him, there is hope for everyone.
Born and raised in West Virginia, Pastor Kirk came to Baltimore in 1980 after spending several years with Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart. He is a strong preacher and teacher of the Word and leads this congregation by example to love God and love people.
Pastor Kirk is married to Carol and has 2 children, Larry and Carrie.

Bio: Carol has been an integral part of the staff since the church began. She meets weekly with the staff adding insight and wisdom to the current structure as well as future development.
Larry Kirk – Co-Pastor / Campus Development

Bio: Larry Kirk, Pastor Kirk’s son and Co-pastor of Central Christian, attended Bible College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he met and later married his wife, Pearl. After a year with Masters Commission he joined the staff of Central in January 1995 and has ministered in many areas of the church. He is currently overseeing the development of our newest campus located in Bel Air, MD and brings to the table a strong desire to see the church get out into the community and be Jesus to someone in need.
Pat Kisser – Administrative Pastor

Bio: A part of the leadership of Central since it’s inception, Pat Kisser has served in many positions over the years. After earning her Minister’s Certification she took on the role of Administrative Pastor. Pat handles the day-to-day operations of the organization. A seasoned counselor and strong in the Word, Pat is an enormous asset to the leadership team.
Pat is married to Rick and has one child, Jason.
Ron Surratt – Campus Pastor / Children’s Pastor

Bio: PR, as he is affectionately referred to, has been at Central since 1985 as youth pastor, Master’s Commission director, children’s pastor and now serves as Campus Pastor. A graduate of Southeastern Bible College and experienced in ministry, he is best known and admired for his contagious excitement and love for life. PR can usually be found in the Kids World room making it an exciting and fun place for your kids, or at the local Wawa meeting and loving people.
Ron is married to Sheila and has two children, Ronnie and Kasey.
Buddy Kauffman – Campus Pastor – North Campus

Bio: The newest member of the staff, Buddy is not new to Central. He grew up in PR’s youth group and went on to become a youth pastor himself. He is currently the Campus Pastor at the North Campus in Bel Air. Most days you can find Buddy ‘up in Bel Air’ meeting new people and spreading the Word.
Buddy is married to Melodie and has three children, Nathan, Meagan and Noah.
Scot Maisel – Worship Pastor

Bio: Scot is another member of our staff that is not new to Central. Also a former member of PR’s youth group, he is a seasoned musician and worship leader. Scot oversees our Band, Singers and Dramas at both campuses. You’ll normally find him writing and arranging music for our worship services and spending time with his team of musicians and singers.
Scot is married to Peccina and has two children, Aiden and Gianna.
Jason Kisser – Network Administrator / Technical Director

Bio: Jason grew up at Central. Born on a Tuesday and in church on Sunday, he hasn’t missed many services since. A 2001 graduate of TESST College of Technology he quickly began volunteering at Central. As volunteer jobs became more frequent and complex he and the leadership team quickly realized the value of being available on a more permanent basis. He joined the team in April of 2004. Whether editing video, designing print media, developing Central’s online presence, fixing computers or running sound, he’s far more comfortable behind the scenes than in the spotlight.
Ken Braley – Facilities Management

Bio: An experienced contractor, Ken is the ‘MacGyver’ of Central. Able to fix or build pretty much anything imaginable, he is tasked with keeping the building and campus in good working condition. From fixing drywall to building sets for dramas, Ken has a knack for simply keeping things working. You’ll normally find him wandering the campus making sure everything works as as it should and is ready for whatever service or special event may be happening.
