Our Exciting Next Step

Welcome to the future of Central Christian! For over 40 years, we have come together as a Community, creating spaces that foster connection, growth, and spiritual well-being. Now, as we look to the future, we are embarking on an exciting journey to expand our facilities in response to the incredible growth in our church family. We are thrilled to share our vision with you—a vision to strengthen our ministry and create even more opportunities for connection and outreach.

This transformative project will unfold in two phases, focusing on two critical areas - enhanced security for the Kids area and the addition of a Gymnasium and Recreation Center for Community access.

Phase 1

We will begin with essential updates to our Central Kids area, creating a safer, more secure, and welcoming environment for the children in our care to learn and grow in their faith. Our new state-of-the-art glass security wall, doors and upgraded check-in/check-out area will ensure peace of mind for parents and staff alike. This phase will also include new restrooms, an expanded café, kitchen, outdoor patio, four multipurpose classrooms, general storage, a parking lot expansion, and cosmetic updates to our Atrium.

Phase 2

The next step is the construction of a new Gymnasium and Community Recreation Center. This 13,000 sq. ft. multi-purpose space will host youth and adult sports leagues, community fitness classes, and serve as a hub for both physical health and spiritual growth.

Both phases have been designed to create a lasting future impact, ensuring that our spaces align with our mission and allow us to better serve both our church family and our local community.

Impact on the Community

The expanded facilities will serve not only our church but also the broader community.

Phase 1: Provides a modern, secure space to ensure the continued success of our kids ministry while improving accessibility and convenience with expanded parking.

Phase 2: Offers a gymnasium with room for basketball, volleyball, pickleball, fitness classes, and community events to enhance Central’s role as a hub for local engagement and outreach.

This is more than just a gym—it’s a gathering place for families to build relationships, strengthen connections, and grow in faith.

The Goal

Our objective is to raise $8 million to fund this two-phase project.

Phase 1: Estimated at approximately $2.5 million, this phase will include updates to our Central Kids check-in area, flooring, new restrooms, an expanded café, kitchen, outdoor patio, four multipurpose classrooms, general storage, a parking lot expansion, and cosmetic updates to the Atrium.

Phase 2: Estimated at $5.5 million, this phase focuses on building the gymnasium, which will connect to the Phase 1 section of the church.

Construction will begin as sufficient funds are raised within the next year, starting with Phase 1. Phase 2 will then commence as soon as sufficient funds are raised. Each step brings us closer to realizing this exciting vision.
